You like anime?

I have a question? Maybe someone could answer it for me. What does a person that likes anime look like? I say this because I have been looked at like I have two heads when I tell people I like anime. “You don’t look like you would be into anime” is usually what I hear from people. I wonder if they think of the “stereo typical nerd” when they imagine what a anime lover looks like. I used to get so tired of people telling me that, but now that I am older, I really could care less how someone preceieves me to be. I guess what I am trying to say is, never judge a book by its cover. Some people would be so surprise and realize they may have a lot in common with someone if they actually take the time to get to know the person and not judge the outer.
